Thank you for your kind attention.
Capt Salim is of Indian origin but born and bred on Mombasa Island, Kenya. He is one of those few who have managed to convert his life time hobby of fishing into a business and still actively fishes as a Captain. Kenya has some of the best fishing on the globe with the Equator running through the middle of the country. On offer are most of the small, medium and large pelagic tropical fish like Marlin, Sailfish, Shark, Tuna, Dorado, Barracuda, Kingfish, Wahoo, Cobia, Trevally, Bonito, Etc. Apart from the fishing you might be lucky to see Dolphins swimming along with the boat, Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Turtles mating!, Humpback Whales (the largest mammal and living thing on the earth – 40/50 tons), Pelicans and who knows what else. The sea is full of surprises. You could even mix your fishing excursion with a bit of snorkeling on Robinson Sandbank – plenty of fun for the whole family. Captains Mohamed, Hamisi and Mwinyi and crew Saleh and Hamisi are all very experienced and courteous. Mwinyi can spot a flock of Terns and Seagulls from nearly a kilometre away and that too without sunglasses! Captain Salim is also a member of KASA - Kenya Association of Sea Anglers . This association brings out a list of approved boats which have been issued with a Seaworthiness Certificate by Kenya Ports Authority and which have presented their insurance coverage for scrutiny. Its Office Bearers and Members form the cream of the Kenyan Sport fishing world. Majik Sport fishing has also been licensed by The Fisheries Dept. and The Kenya Ports Authority.
